March 14: Kitakoura “Let's Eat Seaweed” Dive!

Diving at Sado Island: March 14: Kitakoura “Let's Eat Seaweed” Dive!, photo 1

This is Yabiki from the Niigata shop!

Yesterday we dove at Mushizaki in Sado.

Visibility wasn't great, but we had some cute encounters underwater. We were able to observe small juvenile dangouo (a tiny lumpsucker) and hoteiuo (smooth lumpsucker), and with at least one dango per person, everyone could focus on their photography!

After diving, we all had wakame shabu shabu. When you quickly dip fresh wakame in hot water, it turns a beautiful green, and it was delicious. We really enjoyed the bounty of the sea.

It was a relaxing day where we enjoyed both the sea and the food.
