Sado's premier dive point! This is where you'll find the most kobudai. Upon entry, these friendly fish will swim alongside you and even lean against you. In summer, you can witness male kobudai fighting, and in autumn, their mystical spawning behavior. The sandy seabed is dotted with large rock formations (known as "Akaiwa"), where grunts hide in the sand, and patient observers can enjoy various species of nudibranchs.
Also used for refresh dives. A gentle point enjoyable for all levels from beginners to advanced divers.

With its sandy bottom, this point is frequently used for refresh dives. On days with good visibility and sunshine, the sand ripples are stunningly beautiful. In shallow areas, you can observe baby sea urchins clustering like ant colonies and creatures living in burrows in the sand. In autumn, patient observation reveals various nudibranch species among the rippled sand.
Home to artificial reefs attracting striped beakfish, largescale blackfish, and groupers. Known for dense schools of fish.

These artificial reefs, built several years ago, have developed into thriving ecosystems. Rich with striped beakfish, largescale blackfish, and groupers, kobudai also visit here. The dive typically follows the large boxer-glove-shaped reef structures and along the rock wall. In winter, you may spot large pelagic fish. In autumn, you can observe damselfish tending their eggs.
Sado's only shipwreck point. Two vessels — Fudo-maru (30m depth) and Yunagi (20m depth) — rest on the ocean floor.

Sado's only shipwreck dive point. Two ships lie quietly on the seabed at approximately 30m and 12m depth. We typically dive the shallower wreck. The fish species change with the seasons, guaranteeing exciting encounters every time. Damselfish sometimes burst outward in defensive formations. Kobudai also appear during the day, making fish watching endlessly entertaining. Macro life is also excellent, including nudibranchs, decorator crabs, and damselfish spawning.
An easy beach-entry point. Night diving is especially recommended, offering unique opportunities to observe nocturnal marine life.

From spring to autumn, this point features beautiful seaweed forests. Multiple species of Sargassum and other seaweeds thrive here, and on clear days the scenery is visible even from the surface. Beginners can use it for refresh dives, intermediate divers for buoyancy training, and advanced divers for wide-angle photography. In autumn, you can observe damselfish spawning behavior. Be careful not to touch the rockfish hiding behind the rocks.
A unique point with a Jizo statue enshrined at 20m depth. Jawfish can be observed here, along with a distinctive atmosphere.

Researchers and scientists visit this site, which features one of Asia's largest Onomichi coral colonies. The coral communities create a beautiful underwater landscape for divers. Coral groups can also be found at around 2.5m depth.

Since few divers have visited, the fish show little wariness, sometimes allowing close approaches. Access requires small groups and specific transport arrangements. The point also features drop-offs in spring and autumn, adding depth to an already rewarding dive.
