Diving at Sado Island: October 22: Diving at Washizaki, a Hidden Gem Dive Site!, photo 1

Good evening!

This is Koide from Freeway.

We enjoyed diving at Washizaki on Sado!

Underwater it truly felt like an “autumn sea”: schools of chagara (a small goby), amimehagi (a small filefish) and damselfish colored the rocky reef, like a stage where the fish were dancing.

On top of that, we met a lionfish, one of the seasonal visitor fish, and a school of powerfully swimming kanpachi (greater amberjack). It was moving ✨

The water temperature is still comfortable, and visibility was good. We fully enjoyed the rich autumn sea.

📸 Please take a look at the photos too!

Little by little, it's becoming the season when it's nice to have something to throw on (a windbreaker or similar).

Today's sea conditions
