Diving at Sado Island: October 13: Me and My Hiramasa Luck! lol, photo 1

Good evening!

This is Chika Nakagawa from Freeway.

Today we dove at Ogi!

I'm someone with hiramasa (yellowtail amberjack) luck.

I made a funny Reel about it on Instagram. lol

Hiramasa again today!

Swimming so gracefully, so cool 😎

The day before yesterday, it came this close!

It really surprised me!

A hiramasa charging into a school of damselfish!

Absolutely thrilling!

It was a fun sea 👍

At Ogi we also found a lionfish and a juvenile minamihakofugu (yellow boxfish) 💡

These are cropped from GoPro video, so sorry they're just record shots 💦

It was so cute!

Over the three day holiday weekend, lots of people came to the island!

Thank you so much ☺️

Little by little, it's becoming the season when it's nice to have something to throw on (a windbreaker or similar).

Today's sea conditions

Air temp
22 to 23°C
Water temp
25 to 26°C (the water is warm this year)
Visibility
around 10 to 12 m
Suit
50% wetsuit / 50% drysuit
  • Depending on the air temperature, you may feel a little chilly during breaks on land.
