Good evening, this is Koide from Freeway's Sado shop!
Today we ran an AOW (Advanced Open Water) course and fun diving at Kitakoura!
The photos posted here were kindly provided by our guests.
😆
Dive 1...
At the shipwreck, where the bottom had been bitterly cold, the water temperature has risen to 12°C. Visibility was about 15 m, the bluest water we've had on any dive this year.
Ishidai (striped beakfish) and damselfish are starting to form schools.
The number of female kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse) has been increasing, a sign that spawning season is getting close. The big male, as usual, is sleeping under the ship, though.
Dive 2
To Nagate
Again today there were lots of nudibranchs, and we lost track of time taking photos. This time we found 14 species at Nagate alone!
So much fun!
Nudibranchs: fun to search for, fun to photograph.
They're at their very best right now!
Thank you to all the guests who joined us today.
Thank you very much.
We look forward to seeing you next time.
