Back after a long while: a John Dory!
There are two stories behind its Japanese name, matoudai!
Theory 1: the black spot in the middle looks like a target (mato),
Theory 2: its face resembles a horse, so it was called the horse head (matou) sea bream. Those are the two theories!
Today we went out to the offshore net again!
Lots of young amimehagi, nenbutsudai, chagara and others are gathering there!
The second dive was at Village Front!
Every time we dive, we can really see them growing!
