Hello, this is Chika from Freeway.
Today I had a relaxed, laid back private dive with one guest at Mushizaki Beach!
The shallows were a beautiful blue, sparkling whenever the sunlight streamed in.
Pink juvenile chagara (a small goby) were swimming all over the place, and the scene made me feel, “Summer has come to Sado!”
Juvenile kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse) have started to appear too, and a small school of wakashi (young Japanese amberjack) was full of energy!
I couldn't help but watch them swimming so happily.
And guess what!
An akaobikoteguri (a dragonet) at Mushizaki Beach!
It's a fish we often see at the Ogi dive sites, but...
I was so surprised to find one at Mushizaki too!
A kusafugu (grass puffer) also popped its face out of the sand. It was a day full of cute, soothing creatures.
Big, flashy creatures are of course exciting, but another charm of Sado's sea is that if you search carefully, you can find lots of small, cute creatures.
Thank you for another relaxing, soothing dive today!
Let's enjoy the sea of Sado together again!

Since it was a shore dive, the water was warm.
