Diving at Sado Island: June 13: Kitakoura, photo 1

This is Ando!

Today we took guests who are beginners and divers returning after a break on 2 dives at Kitakoura.

On the first dive, we entered at the artificial reef for a refresh dive.

Even after a long time away from the water, everyone slowly got their feel back and enjoyed a comfortable swim.

Fish are gradually getting more abundant, and the sea felt like it's heading toward summer.

For the second dive, we entered at the shipwreck, aiming for our main target: kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse).

Just as we hoped, we came across a kobudai fight.

We all gathered around in a circle and got to watch the intense battle at length.

Even for beginners, seeing such natural behavior right in front of your eyes made this a true "We did it!" dive.

Everyone was thrilled, and we wrapped up with the biggest smiles.

Right now, Kitakoura is in the middle of kobudai breeding season: a really exciting time of year.

We'll support you so that even beginners can relax and enjoy the drama of Sado's sea.

Please come and visit us!
