This is Koide from Sado!
Today we dived at Lake Kamo and Mushizaki on Sado.
At Lake Kamo, we went nudibranch hunting.
Hanayagi umiushi, mizutama umiushi, hikari umiushi, and more:
we met a different lineup from the usual Sado sea, and it was a dive we could enjoy at a slow, relaxed pace.
At Mushizaki, we entered with our sights set on dangouo (a tiny lumpsucker).
Visibility had dropped a little and there was some swell, but
we found six in total, from babies to ones close to 1 cm.
They came in lots of color variations, like red and white,
and each had its own charm, making it a really rewarding dive!
Choosing dive sites to match the sea conditions,
it was a day of enjoying the very best that day had to offer.
Water temp
Lake Kamo: 16°C
Mushizaki: 12°C
