Yesterday all trips were canceled due to strong winds...
but today it was a complete turnaround, with calm seas.
Light from the blue sky reached well into the water,
a bright day that really felt like spring.
And today's star was...
baby dangouo (a tiny lumpsucker)!
This size, these colors: only right now.
We also searched for nudibranchs, giant Pacific octopus, and other
creatures typical of the spring sea.
Underwater, the seasons are moving along too.
We highly recommend this timing!
