Diving at Sado Island: March 25: Dangouo and Hoteiuo, photo 1

This is Koide from Sado!

Today we went on a boat dive at Kitakoura.

We were able to show our guests both of their requests: dangouo (a tiny lumpsucker) and hoteiuo (smooth lumpsucker).

Right now is prime dangouo season at Kitakoura.

There are many life stages, from tiny newborns to ones that have started to show color, and a full range of colors including red, pink, and white.

Hoteiuo are also being seen,

so the subjects you can only see “this time of year” are all here.

These conditions won't last forever.

“Now,” when both the numbers and their condition are good, is the best time to come.

• For those who want to properly photograph dangouo

• For those who want to see hoteiuo

• For those who want to enjoy spring macro

Come while you can.

For schedule questions and bookings, feel free to contact us by email.

Let's dive Kitakoura together at its best timing.
