Good evening!
This is Koide from Freeway.
The wind was from the southwest, but we held a dive at Ogi.
Sea conditions weren't very good.
On the first dive, we just barely made it to the lighthouse.
Schools of horse mackerel, chagara (a goby), and damselfish: it was pretty lively.
But the visibility was rough 💦
One of our guests spotted a hefty hiramasa (yellowtail amberjack).
As for me, I was desperately searching for jawfish.
I found a burrow, but the fish stayed still deep inside the hole, so there was no chance of a photo. Too bad!!
The second dive was at a relatively calm shore dive site (Ryuodo).
For the first time in a while, I got to bring my camera along too.
Here's how it went 😝
🏝️ Kokeginpo (a small blenny)
🏝️ Kinubari (a banded goby)
🏝️ Misaki kouika
🏝️ A young mebaru (Japanese rockfish)
Cameras really are fun!!
Today's dive sites: Ogi
① Red Lighthouse
② Ryuodo
It's gradually becoming the season when it's nice to have something to throw on (like a windbreaker).
