Good evening!
This is Chika Nakagawa from Freeway.
It was windy today, so instead of the boat…
we dove at Mushizaki Beach 🌊
Speaking of Mushizaki…
the one collected in 2018 that became a new species!
this one!
“Ichigo kawariginchaku” (a sea anemone)
I wish I'd gotten a nicer shot of it.
On the sandy bottom…
nijiginpo (a fang blenny) were still brooding eggs!
Isn't that a bit late?
As for southern fish…
there was a big lionfish,
plus kinchakudai (bluestriped angelfish), nanyo kaiwari (a trevally), isuzumi (a sea chub), and more 🐟
The lionfish had grown and were big!
As the water temperature slowly drops, cuttlefish showed up too!
When squid are swimming, I can't help wanting to capture them on video 👍
A little dangerous and cool:
an oniokoze (devil stinger)!
It's venomous, so you need to be careful!
The only nudibranch, lol:
Sakishima mino umiushi
Our guest F, impressive as always ✨
My season is almost over too 🤏
These days I keep saying goodbye to everyone 😢
The season really flew by 🌊
I want to enjoy the remaining week or so, too!
Thank you for today as well 😊
It's gradually becoming the season when it's nice to have something to throw on (like a windbreaker).
