For macro: the kinubari (a banded goby) 🐟
You might be thinking, “Huh, isn't that just the plain fish that's always around?” (That stings!)...
But that's not it!
It's almost time for them to guard their eggs, so...
their breeding colors are absolutely beautiful!
Their face from the front looks a little goofy, maybe? lol
So cute!

The jawfish and kokeginpo (a small blenny) popping their heads out were adorable too!
If you get too close they pull back in, so I was careful while shooting a video 👍

but under clear skies ☀️ we could take our time watching marine life, which was great!
