Good evening!
This is Chika Nakagawa from Freeway.
Today we dove at Kitakoura!
Dive 1: the artificial reef
Right after entry, a kanpachi (greater amberjack) 🐟

So many fish!

The school of isaki (chicken grunt) was truly amazing 👍
And then, a mebaru ball (a tight ball of Japanese rockfish)!
This season the mebaru hadn't formed a ball at all, so...
we were really lucky!
Then, just before we exited...!
What's that??
What is this fish??

It was a fish I'd never seen before!
Its range is temperate and tropical seas 🌴, so
I'm really glad I got to see it!
Dive 2: Akaiwa
Believe it or not... there were no kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse) 💦
There was a kobudai that looked close to dying 💦
It was quite weak... 😭
It didn't seem to be Kojiro, but 💦
it's sad 😢
And we even had a guest who came all the way from Aichi... 😢
But there were lots of fish, and they said they'd come again, so I'm glad!
Dear I,
you came from so far away...
Thank you so much 😊
There's still so much more of Sado I want to show you!
We'll be waiting for you again around August or September next year!
Thank you for joining us 😊
We hope to see you again!
It was warm on land today, so it felt great even in a wetsuit!
Unusually for me, I'm still diving in a wetsuit 👍
Little by little, it's becoming the season when it's nice to have something to throw on (a windbreaker or similar).
