Good evening!
This is Chika Nakagawa from Freeway.
Today, with a guest who loves nudibranchs,
we did a relaxed shore dive at an Ogi dive site ⛱️
A Miyakoumiushi, the first at Ogi in a while.
And maybe thanks to all the nutrients...
the Kiiroiboumiushi are big!
I put my finger in the photo to show the size, but...
it's hard to tell 💦
It really was big!
And...
the Aoumiushi are big too!
There were lots of big, perfectly round Aoumiushi.
Have they increased over the last few years?
Kiiroumiushi.
This one was big too 👍
My first of the season!
Hakusenminoumiushi!
At the Kitakoura dive sites it's all Nisehakusenminoumiushi, but...
at Ogi there was a Hakusenminoumiushi!
In the shallows, Konohamidorigai,
Ryumoniroumiushi,
and Shirayukimodokiumiushi.
↑ Shirayukimodokiumiushi
↓ Shirahimeumiushi
If you look really closely, the color of their rear ends is different!
Nudibranchs are fascinating, aren't they!

Little by little, it's becoming the season when it's nice to have something to throw on (a windbreaker or similar).
