Hello!
This is Chika from Freeway!
Today's first dive was at a shallow site: Nagate
Light streamed in, and it felt wonderful 👍
Seasonal visitor fish are being seen at lots of dive sites too!
• Oyabiccha (Indo-Pacific sergeant) • Hakofugu (boxfish) • Kagokakidai (stripey)
• Ishigakidai (spotted knifejaw) • A ball of striped eel catfish (gonzui) • Kihassoku (barred soapfish)
• Yokosuji fuedai (a snapper)
In the Sea of Japan, these are fish you can only see at this time of year.
Do try looking for them!
We've been seeing at least one ball of gonzui, a seasonal visitor fish, per dive!
Is this a wagushi mino umiushi?
It's not a common nudibranch, but...
this year I find one every now and then!
Kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse) No.2!
It's young and a bit smaller, yet it's boldly picking fights with Yamato.
Maybe a change of boss is coming soon...
It's sad, but that's the way of nature.
Another fun day in the sea!
Thank you 😊
