Hello, this is Koide from Freeway's Sado shop!

Found one for the first time in ages!

A Gomafubirodoumiushi (a nudibranch)!

And it was a pair, mating.

So lucky, and I'm so happy!

I think the last time I saw one was about 3 years ago.

Is this my 3rd time now?

I didn't have my camera with me, so after exiting I went back in with my camera to take photos (lol).

This time I found them at Yakushiji.

I think they'll move on, so they may be gone next time.

Maybe thanks to the run of calm seas, we found lots of nudibranchs!

It was a lot of fun.

The second dive was a night dive.

We spotted a few juvenile sunabikunin (a snailfish) here and there.

They stayed still on top of the leaves for us.

It's not in the photos, but there was also one adult dangouo (a tiny lumpsucker).

Who knew they'd still be around this time of year!

I was surprised!

My first night dive in a while was so much fun too.

We were down for about 70 minutes!
