Good evening.
Today's post comes to you from Yabiki!
We went diving at Mushizaki.
.
In complete contrast to the rain up until yesterday, it was gloriously sunny!
The weather was warm and pleasant, and we ate lunch while basking in the sun.
Underwater visibility was about 10m, which I'd call fairly decent.
.
Today we again took our time exploring two dive sites, Village Front and Hyogozaki!
At Hyogozaki there were schools of damselfish, schools of juvenile nishikihaze (a goby), and juvenile usumebaru (goldeye rockfish) gathered together, so we got to enjoy the schools of fish too.
At this time of year, we often see big hirame (olive flounder) sitting still on the rocks. Some are close to 1m long and really impressive!
At Village Front, we took our time looking at macro life.
We met lots of nudibranchs.
Hagoromo, Arimo, Himekuromo, Kozakuramino, Berguumiushi and more… (though we don't have photos of them…)
Also, personally I feel there are a lot of owan kurage (crystal jellyfish) this year. Just watching jellyfish drift by is so soothing!
.
The photos were kindly lent to us by M, one of today's guests. Thank you very much!
And congratulations to O on reaching 100 dives!
Let's keep enjoying diving together!
