Good evening.
Once again, today's post comes from our Niigata shop staff!
Because of the wind, we dove at Mushizaki again today.
.
Yesterday's rough seas lingered, so visibility on the first dive dropped sharply to about 5m, but it improved to 10m to 15m over the second and third dives.
.
Mushizaki has two dive sites, Village Front and Hyogozaki. Today at Hyogozaki we saw schools of damselfish, juvenile and adult dangouo (a tiny lumpsucker), and more!
There were lots of juveniles too. The kinubari and nishikihaze (both gobies) shown in the photos drift in open water when they're small, but once they grow up they live on the sandy bottom.
Most of you probably usually see the adults, but in the cold water season the young ones are so cute you'd never imagine what they look like as adults!
.
The photos were kindly lent to us by F, one of today's guests. Thank you very much!
The last 3 photos of the young ones were taken by Shiraishi.
Tomorrow all our teams will be diving at Mushizaki too!
