Hello, this is Yabiki from Freeway.
Today we held a fun diving session at Ogi.
The sea was blue! No waves, and nice and calm.
When the sun shines into the shallows it's really beautiful, and right now there are big schools of juvenile chagara (a goby) and juvenile damselfish, so just watching the little ones is soothing!
We had a request for jawfish, so this time we went looking for the jawfish at the White Lighthouse and the Red Lighthouse.
We only saw one of the larger jawfish, but we saw several cute little pinky-sized jawfish. Some of them didn't duck back in much, maybe out of curiosity about us, so we could take our time observing them.
Octopuses guarding eggs have been spotted at every dive site, and we're now starting to see some whose eggs have already hatched.
If you come across octopus eggs, be sure to take a close look.
When you shine your light on them, you can see the baby octopuses' eyes sparkling.
Right now the sea all around Sado is blue and lovely!
Sunny weather is forecast for Sado tomorrow too!
We'll be out diving with lots of energy again tomorrow!
Thank you all for today!
