Good evening, this is Koide from Freeway!
We went to Kitakoura for the first time since the Christmas dive.
We were worried that the heavy murk from last time might still linger, but...
visibility had recovered to about 10 m....
Being able to see is truly wonderful!
I really felt how grateful I am just to be able to see what's in front of me.
The Christmas tree is still standing too, without being washed away.
Lots of maaji (Japanese horse mackerel) about 20 cm long had gathered and were swimming around like a flowing river! The water is still a warm 18°C, so diving in a drysuit is comfortable.
For those of you who don't know how to use a drysuit,
we give lessons on how to use one in our Advanced course and Drysuit Specialty course. The fun season in the sea continues for a while yet, so please come and see Sado's sea!
