Good evening, this is Koide from Freeway's Sado shop!
On the first day of Golden Week, we held dives at Ogi!
① Sakuma's team: trial diving
② Koide's team: fun diving
It was a day of constant changes, with rain coming and going and sunny spells from the morning. Underwater, the visibility has been gradually recovering. On the first dive at Ryuodo it was 8m, and on the second dive at Kofuku Jizo it was over 15m. We were moved by the clear water for the first time in a while! It felt like Sado's summer sea! As always there were lots of nudibranchs, and we found 19 species in today's 2 dives. The water temperature has also risen to around 13℃. Along with the rising water temperature, the chagara and suzumedai have started swimming around actively.
Tomorrow we're planning to dive at Kitakoura! I wonder if Yamato the kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse) is doing well!
“The Kofuku Jizo”
“Visibility over 15m! So moved by the clear water after so long!”
“Clear seas mean less stress!”
“We found 19 species of nudibranchs today! Does anyone know what this nudibranch is?”
“A huge ubauo (a clingfish), about 5cm long, lol”
“We're running trial diving too! Here's the breathing practice.”
“You're both doing great! Welcome to the underwater world!”
