March 30: Kitakoura (Akaiwa × 2)

March 30: Kitakoura (Akaiwa × 2), photo 1

Good evening, this is Koide from Freeway's Sado shop!

On March 30, we held 2 dives at Akaiwa in Kitakoura! Together with two guests who love nudibranchs, we searched as long as the toilet and the cold allowed. The result: 20 species! Our best ever, not counting sea hares and the like. There were even nudibranchs I was seeing for the first time, so it was a hugely rewarding dive! Nudibranch hunting at Akaiwa is really fun too! Besides nudibranchs, we also spotted dangouo and hoteiuo here and there, and there was hardly enough time for macro photography. The spring plankton bloom is at its peak, but there are lots of cute creatures, so please do come and see Sado's sea! We look forward to guiding you!
