Good evening, this is Koide from Sado!
Today, after 2 shore dives at Mushizaki during the day, we went on a night dive at Ogi!
Juvenile hoteiuo (smooth lumpsucker) have finally appeared again this year.
Just 2mm long! Super tiny!
They look so cute perched all alone on a leaf.
Each juvenile hoteiuo has a different body pattern,
so you never get tired of watching them.
Searching for lots of them to see what patterns are out there, and photographing them, is also GOOD.

A sunabikunin is also hiding in the seaweed.
This one is about 4cm.
Night is sleep time for lots of fish.
A komonkasube (a type of ray) was also asleep on the sand.
If you approach quietly, you can even take photos up close.
Speaking of night dives, I also recommend the mimiika (bobtail squid).
Mimiika burrow into the sand to hide.
They're famous for how cute they look as they dig themselves into the sand.
Of course, the dangouo were there today too.
A total of 3 dangouo showed themselves.
Thank you very much!
