This is Koide from Sado.
We went fun diving at Kitakoura (Nagate) and Mushizaki (Village Front)!
Congratulations to H on your 50th dive! Hooray!
Please keep enjoying a wonderful diving life!
The mizudako (North Pacific giant octopus) have finally arrived.
In winter, big mizudako come up to the shallows to lay their eggs.
The mizudako is the largest octopus in the world, and apparently there are monsters as big as 3m.
They're on edge, so even if you find one, please don't bother it!
It might get its revenge! (sweat)
The visibility was outstanding!
The sun came out from time to time, which made everything look even more beautiful!
The good season continues until the snow melts in March.
The smallest squid in the world,
the himeika (Japanese pygmy squid).
It's less than 1cm in size.
They're usually stuck to seaweed, so they're surprisingly easy to photograph.
