This is Koide from Freeway.
Our ocean logs have been on a break for a while, but we're starting them up again from today!
We'll be introducing the current highlights of the sea one after another,
so we'd be delighted if you'd take a look.
Today, we dived at Kotoura.
The water temperature has risen to 20 to 23℃.
At Iwashiguri, we found 4 jawfish!
No matter how many times I see them peeking out at us from their burrows, they're adorable.
One of them was holding eggs in its mouth, busy raising its young!
You don't often get to see them brooding,
so please come and take photos of it!
Near the surface, there are schools of damselfish, chagara (a goby), striped beakfish (ishidai), umitanago (surfperch), and more,
and it's very lively.
Visibility is also pretty good at 14 m.
We're worried about the effects of Typhoon No. 11 heading into the weekend,
but let's all wish it away somewhere far, far away!
Tomorrow, we're scheduled to dive at Kotoura again.
Thank you for today as well!
