July 13: Kitakoura

Hello, this is Chika from Freeway.

July 13

Yesterday we went diving at Kitakoura!

Once again, our dive site was Akaiwa.

And guess what... today too, the kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse) Yamato came out to see us!

Actually, Yamato had not been showing up very often lately.

That is because Yamato lost a kobudai territorial fight to Gojiro, so we had fewer chances to meet than before.

Even so, Yamato has now been showing up several days in a row.

The joy of meeting again after so long was something special, and it made for a really happy dive for me too.

Of course, our guests were thrilled as well!

They enjoyed their time with Yamato, with that powerful big body and somehow charming face.

Because these creatures live in nature, there is always that thrill of never knowing when you will meet them.

Grateful for another wonderful encounter this time.

I can't wait to see what encounters are waiting for us next time!
