July 10: Kitakoura

July 10: Kitakoura, photo 1

Good evening. This is Sakuma from Freeway.

Today we went diving at Kitakoura.

Today's guest could not go to Okinawa because of a typhoon, so they came to dive on Sado Island instead.

The request: “to see kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse).”

Underwater we met lots of kobudai, and our guest got to enjoy the Sado sea.

It was their first dive in the Sea of Japan, and they seemed to find a charm different from the southern seas.

On the way back we even came across a wild toki (Japanese crested ibis), making it a day to enjoy Sado beyond diving as well.

I'm glad they could feel Sado's charm, which is different from Okinawa's.

Thank you for today.
