Good evening!
This is Chika, one of our summer staff.
It's been a while!
I'm out diving and full of energy every day!
I look forward to diving with you again this season.
As for the sea...
Yesterday and today, our dives focused mainly on nudibranchs.
Unusually for this time of year, we met many different kinds of nudibranchs, and it made for two really fun days!
Here's what we spotted...
• Shiroumiushi
• Aoumiushi
• Sarasaumiushi
• Sumizomeminoumiushi
• Azukiumiushi
• Arimoumiushi
• Hiroumiushi
• Igaguriumiushi
• Sumirematsukasaumiushi
• 1 unidentified species
We were able to observe a whopping 10 species of nudibranchs in total!
On top of that, a seahorse appeared on the top of the rock formation at the Akaiwa dive site!
I also got to see a John Dory for the first time in a while, so I was really happy with the dives.
I love searching for nudibranchs, so if you're thinking "I want to take a good look at nudibranchs!", please be sure to request it!
Let's enjoy a little treasure hunt in the sea together!
Of course, visibility around Sado will keep getting better from here on, so you can enjoy wide angle scenery too!
We look forward to welcoming you to the island!
