This is Koide from Sado!
Today at Lake Kamo and Mushizaki,
we did two shore dives focused only on nudibranchs.
The water temp was 15 to 17°C.
A relaxed, unhurried day
of searching for small creatures.
Today's guest is a huge nudibranch fan.
Among everything we saw,
the one we found at Lake Kamo
was this “akebono umiushi.”
It is a rare nudibranch that prefers cold water,
an encounter unique to this time of year.
The moment I found it,
the guest grabbed my arm tight
with a “Nice find!”
kind of sign.
That reaction
really made me happy.
At Lake Kamo, with 3 m visibility,
the fun was in searching closely nearby.
At Mushizaki, with about 10 m visibility,
we took our time taking photos
and leisurely searched for nudibranchs.
Today was truly
“a dive for slowly enjoying what you love”
kind of day.
