Hello!
This is Chika from Freeway!
Today I guided guests who love nudibranchs!
On the first dive, at the artificial reef site, we watched the schools of fish…
and then went off to find nudibranchs!
First of the season!
■ Haregiminoumiushi
We only see it once in a while in Sado…
and it's really tiny, so we were truly lucky to find it!
Next, this one is also super tiny!
■ Kotohimeumiushi
So tiny you wonder how many millimeters it is!?
This photo is cropped, but…
the next photo is not cropped ↓↓
It was really tiny.
I love macro, but it was so small I wondered: nudibranch? Or debris? (lol)
The second dive was at the Akaiwa site!
Without a glance at the kobudai (Asian sheepshead wrasse) or other fish…
we headed to the nudibranch spot!
■ Osezakiotomeumiushi
Shot from the front, it looks like a cartoon character. So funny!
■ Got a seahorse too!
It was a cute, pretty color!
But it was hard to photograph.
■ Sabihaze (a goby)
Sabihaze are everywhere, but if you approach slowly and shoot from the front…
what a cute face!
■ Nisehakusenminoumiushi
If you look closely at the seaweed, there are quite a lot of them!
■ Kochoumiushi
It looks like it's about to fly away!
For this time of year, not a bad haul!
Our guests who love nudibranchs (macro) said they were very satisfied, so I'm really glad!
Once you get hooked on macro hunting, you're hooked!
Wide angle fans, give searching a try too!
Updated by Chika Nakagawa, who's been thinking it's about time to go night diving! (lol)
We look forward to your booking!
Thank you again for today!
