Hello!
This is Chika Nakagawa from Freeway's Sado shop!
Today, at our guests' request, we went to see eelgrass.
They say eelgrass has been declining across Japan, but at Umezu Beach it was growing in thick beds.
The photos are of eelgrass flowers.

Each guest had their own style, one shooting against blue water, the other against a green background. I thought both were lovely!
There was umihirumo (a small seagrass) too: a slow, relaxing world of sea plants!
An azukiumiushi (a nudibranch) popping its head out on the umihirumo.
So cute!

At the boat dive sites, too...
today was a relaxed macro dive in the shallows!
A hiroumiushi.
Small, but pink and beautiful!

We also found a nudibranch I had never seen in Sado!
A tsunowaminoumiushi! We were lucky!

Even a mebaru (a rockfish) looks wonderful depending on where you shoot it!

A hebiginpo (a small blenny) 🐟
Seen from the front, it looks like it's smiling!

To the two guests who joined us today!
You're both deeply into photography and took nothing but wonderful shots. I was really inspired myself!
Thank you so much, as always 😊
Let's have lots of fun this season too!
