Good evening, this is Koide from Freeway's Sado shop.
The kanzo (day lilies) at Onogame have started to bloom!
Right now I'd say they're about 60 to 70% in bloom? The good weather looks set to continue for a while, so they'll probably be in full bloom sometime next week! The yellow kanzo really stand out against the blue sky.
Today we again held fun diving and a license course in the Mushizaki area. Clear skies and a glassy calm sea made for great conditions. With the deep green of the mountains and the blue sea, you can really feel the power of nature.
Today, even though it was daytime, an adult dangouo (a tiny lumpsucker) appeared too.
I was surprised! It may be 4 years since I last saw an adult in the daytime. Isazaami (mysid shrimp), juvenile kudayagara (tubesnout), juvenile dorome (a goby) and juvenile usumebaru (goldeye rockfish) are gathering in big swarms around the seaweed. Why not try taking some wide angle photos?
